Tell us a bit about yourselves and what lead up to your partnership at The Agency:

I am born and raised in Denver, and attended University of Denver. I was at LIV Sotheby’s International Realty for over 8 years prior to opening The Agency in Denver with Jared Blank. We felt Denver was ready for The Agency with its innovative and sophisticated branding, and progressive approach to real estate. The Agency is an aspirational lifestyle brand, and Denver lends itself to that mentality very well with the excellent quality of life.

Kacey Bingham

Jared Blank

Global real estate brokerage, The Agency has announced the launch of its new franchise office in Denver, Colorado. The new locale is the firm’s 25th franchise among its growing network of offices in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. The Denver office will be led by seasoned luxury real estate agents and managing partners, Kacey Bingham and Jared Blank. The Agency currently has an office in Aspen, Colorado. The Agency is a full-service, luxury real estate brokerage and lifestyle company representing clients in a spectrum of classes, including residential, new development, resort real estate, residential leasing, and luxury vacation rentals.

J

Having grown up in Park Hill, as well as the south Suburbs, it’s been cool to see the evolution of Denver. I attended the University of Colorado and my formal training is in design. I have a master’s degree in Architecture and practiced that prior to getting into real estate. Before opening The Agency in Denver, I worked for over a decade in residential real estate alongside my partner Kacey Bingham on one of the top-producing teams in the city. The Agency’s vision for where the industry is heading, paired with their innovative marketing and branding really resonated with me. You could say the law of attraction drew us to partnering with them, as we all share a similar mindset around business, marketing, success, and real estate.

D K

What is your favorite part of working in the real estate market?

I love helping f irst time home buyers, and then seeing them grow as the years pass. Being a small part of people’s lives and next chapters is extremely rewarding to me. I also love new development f rom sourcing land, to helping developers with their interior f inishes, and seeing it through to the end-product.

J

I love the mix of the art and science of real estate. From the design side, I love helping clients select f inishes, plan spaces, and problem solve construction events, and then f rom a business perspective I love creating marketing plans, analyzing the numbers, and then putting it all together to get a deal done. Of course the personal connection we make with our clients is the most rewarding aspect. I love seeing our clients grow and being able to be part of that. We’ve helped clients buy their f irst home, then upsize as their needs change, and then help their parents downsize.

D K

Why did you choose Cherry Creek for The Agency location?

To us, there was no other option besides Cherry Creek. The vibrant walkability and energy are amazing -and align very well with The Agency brand. The Cherry Creek North commercial real estate market is one of the strongest in the country, and it made sense to be a part of that momentum.

J

Cherry Creek is known for embracing trendsetting businesses and it seemed like the perfect location to solidify The Agency’s footprint in Denver. Specif ically, our off ice is in the heart of Cherry Creek North and the vibrant walkability, culture, and energy is something we felt like we had to be a part of.

D

How does your prior backgrounds in Ice Skating and Architecture help you as a realtor?

K

Growing up as a competitive figure skater, I always knew at the end of the day if I didn’t perform well it was no one’s fault but my own. This translates into real estate that I cannot blame anyone else but myself if I do not succeed. The dedication, diligence, and goal setting that go into being a serious athlete translate very well into a career in real estate. My competitive spirit helps buyers in this intense market as well, where there are multiple offers on almost every property.

J

Whether it’s helping a client understand what may or may not be possible from a construction point of view, or helping a developer plan for the form and function of a home, the skillset has become an invaluable one that I’ve been able to pass along as a benefit to our clients. We also sell a lot of new builds, and understanding construction management, zoning, and the details of that process have helped us provide an even better customer service experience for our clients.

Kacey Bingham

Jared Blank

D K J

Tell us something that no one knows about you?

My guilty pleasure is a steak and glass of red wine!

I’m the third generation in my family to become a real estate broker. I’m a die-hard Broncos fan and have a dog named McLovin.

2 oz of Earl Grey-Infused Woodford Rye 0.75 oz Angostura Amaro 0.25 oz Giffard Banane du Bresnil 0.5 oz Clarified coconut water 2 dashes Angostura bitters

Build your cocktail at room temperature in a large container/pitcher. Add 1 Earl Grey tea bag for every Liter of liquid and allow to steep for 3-5 minutes. Obviously the longer it goes the more Earl Grey flavor you will get but be cautious as the tannins in the tea can get astringent pretty quickly. Strain through a cloth napkin and leave in the freezer indefinitely. (If only infusing rye whiskey 2-4 minutes will suffice). Re: the coconut water: we have and use a centrifuge that is available for at home purchase via Dave Arnold and Booker and Dax for the super nerds. In the absence of that equipment, simply strain the coconut water through two (or one double folded) cloth napkins. If like us you’re a stickler for clarity you’ll want to repeat the same process for your Amaro as it carries particulate matter as well.

New York City Venture Trisha Ventker

New York City Venture Trisha Ventker

No matter how many times I gaze at the cityscape in Times Square, I always realize each building possesses its own personality and has a story to convey. When I was a young girl strolling the streets with my parents, the towering buildings seemed mysterious at times but always like sentinels standing guard. My most recent journey to my hometown was an impromptu girl trip for the holidays with my friend Brie Fowler. For something unique in regard to the city’s lodging, we booked the 234-room Margaritaville Resort Times Square, their concept inspired by the music and lifestyle of Jimmy Buffett, and named after Buffett’s hit song “Margaritaville”. It all dates to the mid-80’s when Buffett opened a Margaritaville retail store and restaurant in Key West, and subsequently the brand has expanded like Colorado wildflowers. The weather was East Coast bone-chilling and upon entering Margaritaville we were transported into a sunny, ocean-breezy, tropical setting, recalling my time in Key West and the sense of an enthusiastic yet laid-back lifestyle. A huge, artsy, blue sandal decorates one wall which sets the Margaritaville mood. The rooms are cozy/small and share the Resort with five restaurants, and an outdoor heated pool, a rare treat for Manhattan hotels. We both enjoyed the Landshark Bar and Grill where the tasty Ahi Poke Bowl was a winner. Cheers to the chef. My Big Apple I was excited to lead Brie to a few of my favorite haunts: Chinatown for soup dumplings, a vigorous Thai massage, rainbow Italian cookies at Ferrara’s in Little Italy, a stop at a French restaurant for mussels and frites, and macarons in the Parisian-style Laduree on Madison Ave., and finally to our last stop, the huge Macys on 34th St. My love affair with New York City is ongoing but my Colorado home is where my heart sparkles.

I realized long ago that it will take me two lifetimes to fully explore the treasures of Denver and the far-reaching corners of Colorado. I set out on a new excursion with my notebook and pen sizzling and the trail led me and my husband Tom to overnight stays at the Curtis Hotel directly in the heart of downtown Denver, and Englewood’s Inverness Hotel and Conference Center, both Hilton properties. Walt Disney, a pioneer of light-hearted joviality, would be delighted with the Curtis which has a rarefied feel of conceptualized spaces: it is wonderfully whacky, and designed so visitors can forget the everyday challenges of life. The hotel is a zany, funfilled structure where pop-art culture rules, and the Curtis interior designers stoked the fires of their imaginations to a new level. I embraced their concept and innovative spin enjoying the 13 themed floors, a ballroom named Peek-a-Boo, and a lobby wall decoration stating No Skinny Dipping. We dined at The Corner Office which offers tapas a la Spain with an American style twist. A large charcuterie board with meat, cheese, crackers, fruit and nuts was delightful, as was the Korean-influenced Bibimbap Rice Bowl. Our standard room was clean and comfortable; guests can also book themed rooms focusing on pop culture standouts such as Star Trek, Lucy & Desi, or Ghostbusters. thecurtis.com

Park Meadow Mall, and all the while enjoying weather that was Colorado brisk with a frosty nip in the air. After a property tour I found the Inverness to be a full-service resort with all the resort amenities: an 18-hole golf course, spa, fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, and expansive meeting rooms. Best of all, pets are welcome. From our suite’s balcony there were views of the golf course and the expansiveness of the imposing Rocky Mountains. The name Inverness rang a bell in my travel memory—it is also an historic seaport in the northern Scottish highland region noted for some exceptional seafood restaurants. Though the Scottish Inverness might not even be a second cousin to the Englewood Inverness, I tip my hat to the Executive Chef and his staff. The savory brunch was one of the best for both Tom and me. (See the Denver Colorado Luxury Magazine posting on Instagram.) Oysters on the half shell, shrimp, scallops, sushi, crab legs and more, was the start of a refined dining experience. The employees here are longlasting and their experience was reflected in the Garden Terrace dining room and throughout the resort. hilton.com/en/ hotels/denirhh-hilton-denverinverness.

4 Beauty Resolutions You Can Actually Keep In 2022 Michael Moore

Michael Moore has worked in the cosmetics industry since 1988 with brand leaders such as Bobbi Brown Essentials, Chanel, and Estée Lauder. In New York City, he was often seen backstage during fashion week, supporting major designers such as Oscar de la Renta, Bob Mackie, and Vera Wang. Michael’s client list includes Oscar winners, First Ladies of the United States, and royalty.

Eventually, the quality of the Colorado lifestyle—the healthy, natural atmosphere that inspires his technique—drew him out west, where he opened Moore For Life in Denver’s own center of chic, Cherry Creek North.

4 Beauty Resolutions You Can Actually Keep In 2022 Michael Moore

1. Hydrate and Stay Hydrated I talk about hydration to my clients all the time. My clients say they will do it... will 2022 be the year? Believe me, your skin and body will thank me! What are two ways to make hydration work? First, Hydrate IV Bar; this is a go-to of mine and essential when living in Colorado. I joined the monthly membership, so at least once a month I get a good dose to help my hydration level out. Second, intensify the moisture you are putting on your skin. The ‘Transdermal C Balm’ by Truth Treatment Systems (started in Denver, Colorado) is the bomb! You can purchase this at my studio, Moore For Life - located in Cherry Creek North. Use this balm overnight and wake up feeling fresher, younger and more supple! 2. Makeup Routine Simplified

My philosophy has always been a, “3-5-7-minute routine” for makeup. 3 minutes is a quick Saturday look, 5 minutes is the professional look and 7 minutes is going out for a night on the town. My advice is to pick out the features that need to be enhanced, covered and attention drown away from. If you come to see me for a Makeup Lesson, I will teach you exactly how to do that.

3. Look For Clean, Clean Products For Healthier You

Make changes in your routine to create a healthier you! I’m not saying the products you are using are wrong but let me show you how to make small changes to healthier ingredients. Little changes over time will help you have a healthier and longer you. For example, foundations and concealer ingredients are key. Did you know Moore For Life will custom blend your foundation for you? 100% mineral based and blended for you, your skin type, skin condition, as well as ingredients added to help with anti-aging, hydration, mattifying, firming; almost anything you want and need. Only healthy, clean and specifically for you!

4. Clean Your Tools - aka “Brushes”

You would not want to start to building something with broken saws and hammers, would you? Then why would start your New Year’s makeup routine with dirty brushes? Cleaning your tools will give your application a better look, less bacteria on your face and will even give you more joy in applying your makeup. Clean your liquid foundation and concealer brushes once a week (at least) and all other brushes once every two weeks. Practice a “maintenance cleanse” in-between applications with a simple brush cleansing spray, “In An Instant Brush Cleaner” by Moore For Life. While every two weeks, give them a bath with a gentle baby shampoO.
