For a portion of each afternoon, students will choose a daily enrichment option, such as nature walks, science experiments, art, sports, baking or acting.

Academic Edge programs (formerly Summer Cool School) are designed to enrich student learning and fight summer learning loss! Led by certificated teachers, classes are based on the Alberta Program of Studies with an emphasis on building knowledge and skills in literacy and numeracy. Students may review their last completed grade or prepare for the upcoming school year. They may enrol in one, two or three weeks of classes.

Junior High Junior High Academic Edge programs focus on literacy and numeracy, and skill building to prepare for future learning. Morning Language Arts and Mathematics classes provide student-centred classroom environments that prioritize engagement and individuality. Students may also register in afternoon enrichment programming called Active Afternoon. During these sessions, students will cook different recipes, create multimedia art pieces, program robots, discover improvisational theatre, and develop leadership skills by working with the elementary Academic Edge students.
